Acrylic mimics wool in softness and appearance but costs less. Wool is warmer and more durable. Acrylic is moth-proof, hypoallergenic and fade-resistant. For children rooms and allergy sufferers, acrylic is preferable.

Acrylic is dyed uniformly through the full fiber thickness, making it highly fade-resistant even with prolonged direct sunlight. One of the best materials for sunny rooms.

Treat stains immediately: blot with a dry cloth — do not rub — then apply stain remover. Avoid hot water — acrylic absorbs colour at high temperatures. Coffee, wine and tea must be removed at once.
