Rubber or latex based carpets Estera2
FAQ
Where are rubber-backed carpets best used?
Essential in hallways, corridors, entrance areas, balconies and stairwell landings. Grip the floor firmly, trap dirt and moisture, prevent slipping. Widely used in offices, restaurants, hotels and shopping centres.
How to wash a rubber-backed rug?
Shake or beat out dust. Rinse with hose and detergent. Machine-wash small items at 30°C. Do not use hot water — the rubber base may deform. Dry outdoors, not in direct sunlight.
Why is a latex base better than rubber?
Latex is thinner and softer, the carpet lies flat on any floor without waves. Latex base withstands repeated machine washing without delaminating. Better retains pile shape with frequent washing.
